Vacation Period Storage Service
Storage is available for St Catherine’s residents over the vacation period (Summer 2016-17) in a secure, on-site facility.
Procedures
① Place and online order and make payment
This storage service is only available to those who are returning to St Catherine’s in 2017. Because space is limited, availability is also on a first come, first served basis, and we may restrict the size and quantity of items.
To begin, simply add storage items you require to the online cart. Please note that there is a minimum charge of $130, and this can be a combination of any of the items, excluding the Room Delivery Add-On. You may also add more than one quantity of the same item. If you order a cardboard box, we’ll supply you one for free! The total cost will cover the entire duration you are away for.
You can go to the online cart to remove and change previously added items. When you’re satisfied with your order configuration, proceed to checkout.
② Confirm at Reception and start packing
Upon successful online ordering and payment, you will receive a receipt via email. Print it out and bring to Reception. Here, you will be asked to select a date and time for self drop off and pick-up (see options below). If you opted for the Room Delivery Add-On, your items will be delivered to your room on the ‘pick-up’ date and time you select. Once your receipt has been noted, collect your sticker labels and cardboard boxes (if you ordered it).
Self Drop off times:
Monday – Friday: 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm (starting 14 November 2016)
Saturday – Sunday: 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm (starting 19 November 2016)
Pick up times:
Monday – Friday: 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm (starting 16 January 2017)
Saturday – Sunday: 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm (starting 14 January 2017)
Contact Reception if you have any questions regarding collection of items.
③ Drop off your items for storage
Drop off your items for storage at Reception on the ‘self drop off’ date and time you selected at Step 2. Please bring your noted receipt.
④ Pick up your items on return
On your return to St Catherine’s, you can pick up your items at Reception on the ‘pick-up’ date and time you selected at Step 2. Please bring your noted receipt.
If you opted for the Room Delivery Add-On, your items will be delivered to your room on the ‘pick-up’ date and time you selected at Step 2.

Terms and Conditions
- Payment for storage is required at the time of registering
- We will supply a free cardboard box per quantity ordered (collect this when you confirm your order at Reception)
- All items in storage must be clearly labelled (sticker labels to be collected from Reception)
- Cardboard boxes and plastic containers need to be sealed
- Please be aware of the weight of your boxes and avoid injury
- Noted receipts must be presented to the attendant at the storage facility when dropping off and picking up items
- Only the resident whose name appears on the receipt may drop off and pick up the items listed on it, unless they have given written permission to another party
- RAs are not permitted to assist in dropping off or picking up storage items for you
Belongings left at your own risk
Residents who make use of the storage service do so with the understanding that the College cannot, under any circumstance, assume responsibility for loss of or damage to personal items. We do not recommend storing anything of significant value.
Dropping off and picking up storage
Residents wishing to utilise the storage service should understand that our staff availability is limited. Access to dropping off and picking up items will be limited to scheduled times. Please remember to select a date and time for self drop off and pick-up at Reception after making your online order. If you opted for the Room Delivery Add-On, your items will be delivered to your room on the ‘pick-up’ date and time you selected.
